Where should I pick up the rental bike in Madrid?
If you have chosen to book the bike online for pickup at our store, you can find us at our VAS Rent a Bike Arganda del Rey location at C. Tomas Edison, 3, 28500 Arganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain. Our hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Is it possible to rent additional accessories?
Of course! At our VAS Rent a Bike offices in Arganda del Rey, we offer the possibility of renting additional accessories to complement your cycling experience. We have a wide range of accessories, such as safety helmets, pedals tailored for different types of cycling, water bottles to keep you hydrated during your rides, and locks to ensure your bike's security when you take a break.
Can I take out additional insurance when renting my bike in Madrid? How much does it cost and what does it cover?
At VAS Rent a Bike, we offer our customers the option of purchasing basic insurance to protect their bike during the rental period. This insurance, available for just €5, covers up to €500 in case of damage or breakage of the bike, providing peace of mind and additional protection during the rental period. It is important to note that this insurance does not cover theft. If you choose not to purchase the insurance with the bike rental, a deposit of €200 will be required, which will be refunded at the end of the rental period, as long as the bike is returned in good condition.
Is it possible to modify or cancel my bike rental reservation in Madrid?
At VAS Rent a Bike, cancellations must be made via email following section 3 of our terms and conditions. Cancellations made at least 30 days before pick-up will receive a full refund. Between 15 and 30 days prior, 50% will be charged, and the rest will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 15 days in advance will be charged the full amount. No-shows will also be charged in full, and cancellations due to weather conditions are not accepted. Delays of over 24 hours must be reported, otherwise, the reservation will be canceled with the applicable fees.
