We know: nothing like getting up in the morning, going to have breakfast at your hotel buffet and, at the agreed time, finding yourself with the bike you have rented at the reception. If you are one of those who prefer not to waste time traveling to the store, you can request delivery to the place of your choice. The price of hotel delivery will vary depending on the distance we have to travel, with a minimum cost of 30 euros, except for reservations whose cost is greater than 350 euros, in which case delivery is free. The maximum distance for bicycle delivery from our VAS Rent a Bike offices in Arganda del Rey and Chinchón, respectively, is 120 km.
If you have chosen to reserve the bicycle to pick it up at our premises, you can find us at our VAS Rent a Bike Arganda del Rey headquarters at C. Tomas Edison, 3, 28500 Arganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If the bike you have reserved is in Chinchón, you can find us at Calle de Pozuelo, 2, 28370 Chinchón, Spain. Our hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Keep in mind that the bike you reserve may not be available at both venues, so when making the reservation make sure you have chosen the correct venue you wish to go to. Of course! At our VAS Rent a Bike offices in Arganda del Rey and Chinchón we offer the possibility of hiring additional accessories to complement your cycling experience. We have a variety of accessories available, such as safety helmets, specific pedals for different types of cycling, water bottles to keep you hydrated during your rides, and locks to ensure the safety of your bike when you take a break.
At VAS Rent a Bike, we offer our clients two insurance options to guarantee the protection of their bicycle during the rental. The Basic Insurance is available for just €5 and covers up to €300 in case of breakage or damage to the bicycle. On the other hand, we offer Advanced Insurance for €10, which provides broader coverage. This insurance covers up to €1,500 in breakage or damage to the bicycle and also provides roadside assistance service for breakdowns that cannot be solved with the kit provided, within a radius of 50 km. Both insurance options are designed to provide peace of mind and additional protection during your bike rental. These insurances do not offer coverage in case of theft.
At VAS Rent a Bike, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that require you to cancel a reservation. To cancel your reservation, you simply have to contact us by email following the instructions in section 3 of our terms and conditions. Below are the cancellation conditions and costs depending on when we are notified: If you cancel at least 30 days before the pick-up date, the full advance payment made on the reservation will be refunded. If the cancellation is made between 15 and 30 days before the start of the rental, 50% of the value of the reservation will be charged and the remaining 50% will be refunded. If the cancellation is made less than 15 days before the start of the rental, it will be will charge 100% of the total value of the reservation and the amount owed will be charged to your debit/credit card. In case of not picking up the bicycles on the day scheduled for rental, the total payment of the reservation will be charged to your card debit/credit card. Please note that cancellations due to weather conditions are not accepted. If you anticipate a delay in the collection of the bicycle(s) of more than 24 hours, we request that you inform us. Otherwise, we will cancel your reservation the day after the start date, applying the corresponding fees.At VAS Rent a Bike, we are committed to providing a transparent and fair service, and these cancellation conditions allow us to guarantee the availability of our bicycles for all our clients.
